it’s okay to say this image isn’t accurate, by some measure of accurate. it’s not okay to say there’s anything wrong with that. I think accurate hooves are pretty terrible actually, for anything other than walking on. real horses do nothing other than walk around and eat grass, so there’s no reason mlp ponies couldn’t have different hooves.

technically if you look at a hoof the frog is only a tiny V-shaped part in the center of a big bony concave cup, and the frog is stiff to the touch too.
