Rarity, these shades are a bit more significant then just fashion.

Wearing them means being someone another can count on. It symbolizes the power of a man’s…or pony’s, in this case…raw determination. It symbolizes believing in yourself, and believing in others who believe in you. Row, row, fight the power and all that.

In short, it’ll be a huge hit in Equestria.
