I like this choice they made. It’s a good direction for the franchise, ties in very well with the toys and targets a more specific younger audience. It’s a good call.
We’ve all had our fill, and this is a great way for them to move forward without uprooting the Friendship is Magic stuff.
A good palette cleanser to open the way for potential reboots with more depth in the future.
