Neutron stars might be a better place to start, gain more mass more quickly that way…or perhaps nebulae? Probably not very much mass there to feed on though…
 
Or she could try using magic to decompress the singularity and siphon off its mass over time; not exactly a quick solution though…

My bad, I just went with it.  
The knowledge about black holes is very limited, as we still don’t know exactly how large the center actually is or can be. Scientist can only theorize about them as they absorb information (matter/energy and the like) and give nothing to work with, other then everything around it. Some say it’s actually a zero dimensional singularity, others say it is a ever forming giant element out of all the atoms it sucks up, some even say it can be an actual hole that leads to a white hole to a different universe.  
Quantum information science, man. Shit gets whacky.

I just realized, Twilight’s not just been getting bigger, she’s also been getting more powerful. In this page her magic is strong enough to get her away from the pull of a BLACK HOLE. She made that comment about outputting “trillions of units” of magic earlier in the comic so she must be able to feel herself getting stronger on top of getting bigger.

Okay. I think a lot of people don’t understand what a black hole actually is…
 
A black hole is a dead sun that instead of exploding into a supernova, was so super large and heavy that it crushed down into a teeny tiny pea sized ball of mass so dense that it creates a gravitational pull so strong that not even light can escape.

What you are looking at as a black sphere, is not the actual black hole, but the event horrizon. Which is the point beyond which, gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape. The actual black hole is a pea sized ball of mass right in the very centre.

A black hole with the mass of earth, would have a diameter of 5 cm /2 inches.  
In this case, if you decompress a black hole to the density of a planet (pretend it would be stable) it would be around 1,655e+25 times larger in volume. ~16.550.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 (numbers get large when you work with volume)  
Stars are heavier than planets, but less dense.  
Earth: 5,51 g/cm³  
Sun: 1,41 g/cm³ (around a quarter of the earth)  
Human: ~1 g/cm³
 
If Twilight curled up as best as possible, she would have the diameter of 1 TL (Twilight length) and the volume of 0,524 TV (Twilight volume).  
Looking at the pic, you could fit her in the diameter of this black hole 6 times.
 
Volume of the black hole:  
(4/3)·π·(6TL:2)³ = 113,097 TV (a bit more than 215 Twilights would fit in there)
 
Volume of the decompressed black hole (to planet density):  
113,097 TV · 16.550.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 = 1.871.755.350.000.000.000.000.000.000 TV
 
Ponies should be have around the same density as humans, so…
