I even remember a report of some guy loosing his job, as amusement park mascot, because he was showing the ok sign while a family took a photo with him and their dauger. The poor guy honestly didn’t know it was deemed a sign “white supremacy”.

I mean screw 4chan for getting it started but I blame the media for legitimizing it.
 
4Chan says a bunch of stupid crap all the time and no one cares,but then the (let’s be honest,leftist)media came along and did exactly what 4chan wanted and stared some moral panic about the OK sign being “white supremacy”. Despite it being a meme and game for decades. This got the PC brigades in a twist who started demanding society now desparage the OK sign as rascist and bad. Because of this you end up with “investigations” by pearl clutchers at football games and even Military events for some sort of hate crime and moronic journalist writing articles about how much Nazis and the Klan have infiltrated society with their hate symbols because some folk wanted to meet or play the circle game.
 
4Chan may have started it but I blame the “Woke folk” and “SJWs” who made it an issue,who fell for 4chans BS so they could virtue signal some more about how only they can protect us from the dog whistles all around us…the ones only they can see. A better civil society would know not to fall for such easy provocations and let it become such Drama,otherwise it can’t sustain itself.
