That still doesn’t mean they can’t have a genuine relationship.

Dude, they did a whole episode about the CMC trying to hook those two up and then we know start seeing them together in the background. No, it’s not some guaranteed ship or anything but taking it as a hint is a logical conclusion. I think anti-ship goggles are almost as bad as shipping goggles.
