Agreed, I don’t get why some fans get angry anytime a character acts humorous, flawed, comical, clumsy, whatever, and take it as a personal insult against the character.
 
Practically, every character acts silly sometimes, and I thought that’s what was partially what made the show so popular?

Trixie is just fun to watch in general.

It was a lot of fun to see Trixie freak out from seeing Thorax for the first time.

And in fairness, Starlight has had her buttmonkey/breaking moments too, like that ep’ when Trixie kept unintentionally pissing her off, and every moment Starlight was going to lose it, or when she sold Trixie’s wagon, or when Cozy of all ponies captured and imprisoned her.  
Yeah, those aren’t the signs of a “perfect always competent and special” OP character…
