Considering that Shino is working with this store for the comic, I think that he’s approving this as well.
I hope he does, Apogee is pretty much a fandom’s OC by now.
Because it’s incredibly low effort. I’ve seen Chinese knockoff plushies that sell for $10 that look far better than this. The anatomy is stiff and wonky, the wings are very awkwardly placed and positioned, the mane looks almost nothing like the drawn version (very flat, sideswept hair requires some expertise to make 3D), tail has the same problem of being nearly 2D, the mouth either seems too far up or too wide or maybe both, and the eyes are way too far apart.
Sure, it could be worse but it’s still not good.

I don’t see any hyperbole in my statement. It looks as though there was very little effort that went into making this plush look like the character it’s based on, aside from the general color scheme.
Welcome to internet discourse, where your opinion only matters if it’s as exaggerated as possible and stuffed to the brim with hyperbole.
Why do people exaggerate so much? It’s flawed but it’s not ‘incredibly low effort’. Just stop that.
Agreed, the distance between the eyes may be too much and the snout/nose is a bit too much, hairstyle seems a bit different too. Frankly not a high effort plush. Then again, not everyone can get an amazingly well done plush like Nekokevin does with his Glimmer plush.
This isn’t bad, but it could’ve certainly been closer to scale in how Apogee looks.
