Props to this user for going out of their way to approximate the conversion of bits to dollars when bits are a fictional currency.

Assuming the second, then 50 bits = 75 tomatoes.
That’s a lot of tomatoes.
Assuming each tomato is 120 g, then 1 bit is 180 g of tomatoes, or about 5.5 bits per 1 kg of tomatoes, which in 2020 human America costs about $2. That means 1 bit is about $0.4.
So 50 bits is about $20.

Well if you remember from the show, the episode where Iron Will first shows up, apparently 1 to 2 bits can pay for a heap of tomatoes. So…if just a bit can get you a bunch of fruit, imagine what 50 can do.
