And I really can’t see dragons as Turks. I’d go more with Mycenaean Greek, simply because I love the term they used for their kings, wanax. It means something like ‘Great Sacker of Cities’ in English. It just has the right ‘feel’ for a dragon.
Personally, i don’t consider these comics on my headcanon, but i’d go for something like Yakut.

Yaks would probably be something like Nepali, while the Griffon languages would be somewhat similar to Slavic languages or Scythian depending on their location - the one in Griffonstone in particular would sound like Russian.

Griffins probably don’t often speak their ancestral language and instead mostly either use the local language or common trade languages.
