Hm, maybe. I like to think that she got the way she was through a failed magical experiment resulting her to sustain herself by feeding off the life-force of others (kinda like Michael Morbius from Spider-Man from both the comics and the ‘90’s cartoon.) But again thats me.

When you get down to it, isn’t that kinda what she does anyway? It’s just seems like she’s scripted “to feed off love” because the latter would apear too grimdark for younger veiwers.

I like to believe that I think outside of the box.

To be honest I’m not really a fan of how the comic handled her origin, but that’s what multiple uinverses are for right?

I really like the design choice the artist went with here. Her apperance reminds of female supevillians of both Marvel an DC comics of…I wanna say the 90’s and early 2000’s

It’s like the reason she’s dressed like this is because she exumes allure. She’s seductive, manipulative and uses her traits to lower the defenses of her victims. She has an “otherworldly” appeal about her and she knows it, and thus uses that to her advantage.

To sum up someone like Chrysalis, I’d say she’s like a cross between Mystyque and Poison Ivy.

But thats my veiw.
