To be fair, I think another big reason Alushy is pretty big is because Fluttershy temporarily became a batpony via the fruit bat mishap thanks to Twilight (and the fact poison joke turns her voice masculine, that too). It’s no wonder a large amount of batshy and vampireshy became a thing, thus Alushy by extension.
Still, I do understand your point about Sombra being a better fit character-wise, but on the fun factor, I just like imagining Fluttershy portrayed as Alucard.
I actually have a hellsing fanfic that stars sombra as alucard and Binyl Scratch as Seras Victoria
eh. Just wouldn’t work.
Could use “and I was a colt” instead. Sides, just cos Sombra is a better fit, that doesn’t mean we should just abandon Alushy.
Still a better fit in my opinion, especially since they like to use the Abridged version and the “I was a girl” bit doesn’t really work well with Alushy.
To be fair, Alushy happened before Sombra.
