I don’t know why you are treating Cheerilee and Marble’s feelings like a “loose end” - we confirmed in the first episode with SugarMac that he doesn’t feel that way for Cheerilee and Marble learned she had no chance in Best Gift Ever. We don’t need anymore then that.

What I hope happened: Marble Pie and Cheerilee show up, crying, but Big Mac makes a speech about how being married doesn’t mean they’re not still important to him as friends. (And we shippers say: “Hot diggity damn, that’s good enough for me!”)
 
What probably happened: Either they don’t appear at all or they’re shown sobbing their eyes out as a mere joke and their feelings never get touched upon again, ever, not even in the epilogue episode that’s supposed to tie up loose ends.

Nice touch with them getting married where Bright Mac and Pear Butter did. And by Mayor Mare, too.
