No, that’s just their means of controlling people. They could breed with us in the normal way, if they wanted. Male offspring would be human, female would be Sunny-vampiric (all Sunny vampires are female). But they have extremely high standards when selecting a father for their spawn.

One trait Sunny vampires do share with their undead kin is that their images cannot be captured by any mechanical means. They are totally invisble to robots, drones, or anything else which uses cameras to see the world rather than natural sight. And anything with natural sight is captivated by their beauty, so… 🤷♂️

I doubt there is anyone, man or woman, who could do it: Sunny vampires are simply too beguiling, as you can see from the example above. The strongest-willed person succumbs to their glamour in a mere second. And once they have drunk of your seed, you are their slave forever.
Then these peculiar creatures would make good test subjects: if they can reproduce only by consuming semen from humanoids, they might spawn more of their twisted kind after a “meal”. Maybe we should sedate and capture one of these savages, and use it for psychological experiments to test its intelligence (if there is any at all).

“Sunny vampires” are different in many ways, lack of sunlight aversion being one of them, the fact they suck cocks instead of blood being another.
