Yeah I believe it was like in the series when Ben became a teenager and his Omnitrix got an upgrade or something they were fighting some guy who looks like he was a good guy but then turned out to be a bad guy then later on his powers got corrupted he went by the name Michael Morningstar when his powers became corrupted thanks to Ben and his team he went by the name dark Star
