Yet One More Idiot

World's biggest idiot xD
This is an edit…but it’s true that a lot of stuff went unnoticed in the artwork of the 80s series. Why? Simple.

“Perfect freeze-frame” wasn’t a thing back then. It was impossible to spot the sometimes single-frame animation errors (like eyes being misaligned with the rest of the face, a horn or wings disappearing or appearing momentarily, etc etc) because you couldn’t stop and inspect the video frame by frame.

Also because the average age of an MLP viewer in the 80s was about 6. :) I can’t speak for other families of the time, but my sister and I were just placed in front of the TV to watch My Little Pony ’n Friends while our mum was doing the housework and our dad was out paying the bills and buying the groceries. Adults watching cartoon ponies was just not the thing then that it is now. :)

TL;DR nobody was paying attention to it back then. :P
