OK, I’ve been wanting to draw attention to this for quite a while now, so here we go:
So, you know how Chrysalis is able to levitate things and fire magical blasts with her horn like a unicorn? These two shots of Thorax from the season 6 finale seem to indicate that, as the new leader of the Changelings, he has this ability as well. Heck, his magic even has that same up-and-down vibrating thing that Chrysalis’ magic does! The reason I bring this up is that this is the only time that Thorax has lit up his horns like this so far in the entire show. I’m just curious because, if he has the power to levitate things like a unicorn, he’d use it more often right? The weird thing is though (as I already stated) he only does this when he is standing up against Chrysalis in To Where and Back Again. I mean, Chrysalis uses her magic for normal tasks all the time, so why not Thorax? I’m not saying they should bring attention to it, just have him lift a teapot or a quill or something with his magic and that would be enough for me.
Not really much to say, I just wanted to let this out.
Also, given that Pharynx has his own pair of horns, who else wants to bet that his aura is purple just to compliment his brother’s? We may not get an answer, but it’s fun to think about.

So was I when I saw these shots of his horns all lit up. But then again, Chrysalis’ horn doesn’t always light up when she changes. Just look at the multiple instances in Frenemies.
Weird. Guess I missed that.. Now I’m curious
Neither. Again, go back and watch Tripe Threat. When Thorax changes into a bear, look closely and you’ll see his horns don’t light up at all.
Well, when he transforms, does it light up his antlers, his horn, both, or neither?
If that’s the case, why doesn’t he do this every time he actually transforms (ex: Tripe Threat and To Change a Changeling)?
The picture on the left is just his horns glowing and the one on the right is the closest I could get to showing the magic on his mandibles doing that ‘vibrating’ that Chrysalis’ does. Look an little closer at his horns in the second picture and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Edited because: Typo
