In every photo and video streets are filled with protesters, that's most citizens of the city. Only Chinesse media paint them as "few protesters".
Why should I care what were feelings of the chinesse centuries ago? Hong Kong was a free city so long They don't think of themselves aa Chinesse and that's all that matters today. I don't give a damn if China has historical claim over Hong Kong, it's citizens does not want to be part of China.
I'm sorry, but if Germans feel like Poles should all die in concentration camps to make room for german colonization Poles should not take their feelings into consideration. Also the evil party in all of this is China's government that people protest against in China too. It is not the matter of people of one nation uniting,by that logic Hitler uniting Austria becouse both people spoke German was fair and just. China favours minorities? Oh then all that christians, muslims, pro-democratic people or just anyone Chinesse deems a threat to themselves ending up in prisons is protecting minorities? Oh wow, China seems like such a great country where I can be jailed for having wrong thoughts, I should go live there, I was tired of My freedom anyway...
