Twilight wouldn’t. however, Celestia would probably see these uses.

Given how pony influence has managed to improve the lives of so many surrounding creatures, without taking anything positive away from them, there isn’t really any issue. Not to mention how another purpose is to reduce the ponies own feelings of distrust and fear of other creatures.
 
The simple fact is some nations are bound to develop positive things others lack, and there’s nothing wrong with spreading those things. Provided it is done voluntarily on both sides of course.
 
In this episode for one, things only went too far because Rarity and company thought Yona wanted all the excessive efforts to fit in. They never told her she had to do it, they only told her what she would need to do to do it all right if she chose to do those things. Yona’s own yak tendency toward perfection took care of the rest.

I can buy it. Pretty in line with how non-pony cultures get treated in the show.
