Description: Automation was the result of prolonged war. As ponies left the factories and the fields to fight in the war labor shortages were felt at home. What labor was left was however eventually augmented or replaced with automation. As well as providing a boost in productive efficiency or to fill basic roles left behind by missing ponies, automated weapons systems could also be used on the battlefield. Besides automatic defensive turrets in bases and fortified locations the advent of the Protect-o-Pony introduced a whole new option to the war. Heavily armored, the Protect-o-pony is equipped with a hard-hitting energy laser weapon. However it’s rudimentary design in imitating pony anatomy makes it cumbersome and slow moving and it can take its time in arriving to battle. However, being a machine it knows no fear and will not run from anything no matter the odds.
