I’m not really for shipping them. Just him at least attempting to mend things with Rarity would be much better episode then what we currently have of him.
Maybe they could use the episode the also mature Rarity a bit as well.

We could be here all day talking background characters who never had a line. I’m here to talk about characters who clearly need more than one attempt.
Truthfully Blueblood has shown up in a few other episodes but has he spoken in them… no.
Heck, there have been background ponies that didn’t even show up in the 100th episode with more characterization then him. Literally, the Equestria Games all he did was sit even more still than a statue, he might as well be the very background itself.
I hope that season 9 will have a theme of closure, and maybe there will be episodes in which characters reconcile with each other. Maybe Prince Blueblood will redeem himself. Maybe he and Rarity will even fall in love. It’ll be like we’ve come full circle since season 1.
That probably won’t happen, though. I just like the idea of a character redeeming himself and getting the girl who spurned him. I’d love to see the same for Zephyr Breeze and Rainbow Dash.
