At least drunk unicorns can’t cast magic because the alcohol gets in the way.

I’d imagine that alicorns, and certain extremely powerful unicorns, are probably able to overcome this (and, on a related note, that you should not, under any circumstances, let Celestia start doing shots).

They also fly around and are extreme lightweights, even worse than unicorns. At least drunk unicorns can’t cast magic because the alcohol gets in the way. Earth ponies are near-impossible to get wasted due to their alcohol dehydrogenase, heavier mass, and lack of magic systems (that interfere with unicorn alcohol dehydrogenase).
