Description
There are stock models for RD but I’ve grown fond of the old Cadence body style, so this required customization.
Also, they’re really good at working with expressions. Not so much with waterproof painting still. A quick gentle washoff doesn’t hurt too badly.

I would LOVE that.
This might be weird but i think it would be cool to have a toy with a transparent “window” on the bottom made of clear vinyl, just so you can sorta look into it. not that there’s anything to see in there really, it would just be unique :P
More toys should be made of the transparent stuff.
Hell I can even see some PP design be remade with transparent vinyl. Their Sea Dragon for example.

I have yet to see a pony made with transparent vinyl, But that’s definitely something I want! Someone’s gotta make it happen. If no one steps up i’ll eventually get around to it :P

Definitely. Actually i’ve been meaning to ask you if you do commissions/requests. Your inflatable ponies are super cute and i want to have a drawing of my OC done as a pool toy at some point :P
You guys can yell at me about designs if you wanna try and get something for these things. I rather have nicer looking ponies than whatever just comes out at times. Dm’s are open here and on twitter.

You could always find another design to go to. There’s plenty. If you want.
That said, someone may well beat me to it. For instance I was not the one who submitted Cloudchaser as a buyable option; it was already in their catalog lol
I feel like hongyi would struggle to capture the design of a kirin. otherwise absolutely.

I guess translucent designs can also be passed off as Crystal Ponies.

Seems not a lot of people have requested them to do many ponies beyond their own OCs and alicorn princesses.
I have yet to see a proper inflatable bat pony, Sunset Shimmer, Vinyl Scratch, Coco Pommel, and Trixie.
i haven’t seen Hongyi attempt a translucent pony yet, but they have done some other see-through toys. In the meantime there’s always the Horseplay Inflatables German Heavy Warmblood in transparent blue.

Indeed. I specifically told them several times to make sure the paint was better, but they insisted they had no time with the constraints of the busy sales season, so I’ve resigned myself to assuming it’s always gonna be a gamble. I HOPE one day it’s fixed but it’s a trial and error thing for the time being in the short term. Pool dash would be fuuuuuuuuuuun

I mean since they’ve made some other non-pony characters in translucent, hopefully all it’d take is someone asking. Several pones would look great in translucent.
haha that’s a shame. But i guess there’s really no quality guarantee with Hongyi so you kinda get what you get.
I plan on getting an inflatable RD eventually so hopefully when that happens they decide to do the paint better so i can ride her around the pool :)
I really really wanted for her to be, but the main chamber paint comes off to easily. Ironically the mane and tail are perfectly waterproof.
