Is it me…or do some of these scenes between Rarity and AJ, this season, seem like things that would be more in character for Spike to do for Rare. AJ is a close friends, as the rest are, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think AJ would feed into Rarity’s occasionally ridiculous vanity in such an urgent situation.
 
I don’t even ship Sparity (not that I hate rarijack, per say, so much as those supporters of it who are so obnoxious as to scream CANON), but it just seems really…flipped.
 
I really do hope the writer intend to give AJ and Rarity time with others in the mane six…you know…develop other friendships, and not pander to one specific set of the fandom. I doubt that’s the intention, but…Sometimes I just don’t know.

While you could argue she lost the least (she could’ve got more clothes),  

Rarity, I like you, you’re one of the only mane 6 members I don’t hold in contempt. Rarity, just take the fucking dress off before I strangle you with it. And don’t give any “it won’t come off” bullshit, you didn’t even try! You just immediately started crying about it like a spoiled four year old who got a present that wasn’t what they wanted.
