And I will ask again, how do you know it is objectively terrible? What evidence do you have to support your claim? You keep insisting that the book is bad like it’s some kind of universal truth so basic it doesn’t even warrant an explanation, but you haven’t provided a single actual fact to support that, or even bothered to read the thing you’re asserting absolutes about. By your example I could just as easily claim the book is objectively good, and that you just have terrible taste, and be just as “objectively” right. But that’s not how objectivity works, nor should it be.
 
And let me be clear, I don’t mind if your opinion is that the book is bad. If you want to come back and say that some reviewer who’s opinion you agree with most of the time lambasted the thing, or that it meets a number of criteria you don’t find interesting, or something along those lines, fine. I have no issues with that. But if you are going to make definite statements of quality and insist that you just know it’s bad when you have admitted to having no actual knowledge of the thing you are critiquing, I feel I am well within my rights to ask for justification on that.

Yes, and I seem to recall that your only counter-argument to “this book is terrible” is “read this entire terrible book”, so your judgement doesn’t really count for much. It is objectively a terrible book, even if you personally like it.

Debatable. But I seem to recall that you haven’t even read the book and outright refuse to do so, so I don’t think you are really in a position to judge it.
