Seriously, somehow people always manage to go back to hating Starlight, no matter whether what happens is related to Starlight or not. Sadly, at this point I’ve gotten used to it. It’s like that pesky fly swirling around you that you first try to swat, but then just ignore after a while.

Also true (personally I prefer Starlight, though I can easily see why people would prefer Sunset - for me though, I’m more concerned about the individual character than the outside world’s reaction, since the former tends to have a narrower range it can be in while still being believable, and for me, those relapses, like you mention, make it a bit more believable to me. Hell, one could argue that the rest of Equestria wasn’t even aware of what Starlight did, considering the whole alternate timeline thing and all)

Just so you know, Neighsay still played a villain in the episode. Cozy just outmaneuvered him, and he saw the ridiculousness of his perspective because of stuff that happened in the episode.

Ah, okay. I can easily see this. You had someone who wanted to get back at the whole season and felt cheated! I can easily get behind this ^^ And, well, the easy thing to say here is that I think it was the point of it all, and I personally think it worked great, but that is me talking and doesn’t do anything to your views or feelings on the matter. All I can say is that I get that point of view and that I am sure there are some fanfics out there which deal with him getting punished in one way or another. So there is atleast that if need be, for the show though, I know you had to let off some steam but I do hope it wasn’t too hard on you and I do hope you will enjoy the things still yet to come

It’s worse than that:  
Cozy Glow knowingly sent that group up into Cloudsdale with Rainbow Dash instead of Twilight (meaning Starlight had to go to to perform the Cloud walking spell) and caused every creature without wings to fall. Including Sandbar and Yona.
