HE might had dismissed those incidents as exceptions….and thingsl ike the changeling’s reputation taking a while to heal or other stuff would had not helped matters
I expected them to be equals……but Neighsay was a pawn….an enemy’s pawn
And I think even less people thought it would become apparent that she was never involved with Neighsay before this episode. Red herrings are an interesting bunch.

Not even that. She thought controlling a school would be easy as cake, but almost anyone would notice that Neightsay or Twilight (ponies greatly recogniced in Equestria) would have been missed. The princesses and royal guards would have made a search for them and you know how it ended anyway.
She manipulated the entire village to follow her equality belief through friendship. It was even used to help her brainwashing.
