In D&D it’s less “roll to evade taxes” than “shank the official and hide the body.” There’s at least three different rolls there, not counting any pre-shanking shenanigans. Unless you manage to do the medieval Boston Tea Party with fireballs instead of tea. Roleplaying than convincingly should get more evasions than a coked-up congressman at a hearing.
