Oh no. I thought you were talking about Spike/Twilight. Starlight and Twi both have light in their names so I must have confused the two ships.
The brother/sister thing I get, but how is she a mother figure to him? She comes to him for advice more than Twilight does.
Some people still hate Sparity for that reason. Sparlight also has the surrogate mother/older sister thing that makes it weird for a lot of people too.
There’s just something so awesome about a unicorn-dragon romance.
