Yeah, I’ll bet that’s what they do. You know what they might be doing? They might be avoiding addressing the questions of AJ and Scootaloo’s parents because they don’t want to ruin faniverses that say they’re dead or what have you. (Probably not, but I’m just spit-balling.)

Spats: Proud Family crossover.  
Rufus: Kim Possible crossover.

Yep, there were four crossover episodes.  
American Dragon, Kim Possible, Recess and The Proud Family all crossed over with Lilo & Stitch. Tho they might have done this to introduce more experiments in a unique fashion.
 
Also, the Recess crossover seems to have aired 5 years after that show ended.

Do you remember when it crossed over with Lilo & Stitch the series?  
It was part of a several crossovers with the Lilo & Stitch universe along with other Disney animated shows. Like Recess and Kim Possible, among others.

So, chances of AJ’s parents even getting mentioned? I’m thinking it’ll be like with Scoots and they won’t even imply that they exist, much less what their deal is.
 
Babs might appear, but I doubt that her parents will.
