Perfect Day for Fun is implied from the get go to be not canon anyway, since Twilight somehow has a cell phone. It’s a music video and runs on music video logic.

And that’s saying nothing about rollercoasters. She’s shown riding on a slower, flatter one with no problem and it’s implied she rode others. It’s implied that Rainbow has a fear of not being in control at heights, something that makes perfect sense for someone with super speed and the ability to fly.

She’s not afraid of rollercoasters…she’s afraid of that one because it takes her out of her comfort zone.

People need to stop shouting “bad writing” every time something doesn’t add up perfectly. If you were used to controlling your rate of descent from the sky and suddenly found yourself facing an uncontrolled drop, it should scare you. Because that’d be called a crash if it wasn’t a rollercoaster.
