I know this reply is late, but do you (and the show staff, to a certain degree) expect me to believe that between the events of TWABA and TM6 Chrysalis returned to the hive, retrieved her crown, and left without Thorax or any of the other changedlings noticing her?

And I know you’re going to say something like, “she could disguise herself”, buuut…wouldn’t anyone be a bit suspicious of a stranger who made off with their former leader’s crown? I know I would.

Wait. Was Crackle Cosette a disguised name by Chrysalis because it was an imposter or where’s the real Crackle Cosette?

Well, I mean, Chrysalis didn’t just turn into a camera, she left the photos out of her return transformation.  
And she’s apparently fine.  
I wasn’t saying they’d turn fully into explosives, I was saying they give up as much ‘bodymass’ as they can safely (if not comfortably) do to turn it into explosives.

Well, I mean, yes, if it was just a prop I’d be totally for it.  
But… It’s a FUNCTIONAL camera!  
Like, she’s able to mimic the complex chemicals of a Polaroid camera?  
I’m used to MLP playing fast and loose with the rules, yes, but this still seems like an upgrade to the Changeling powers.  
What’s keeping a bunch of them from collaborating on ‘shapeshifting’ a bunch of explosives (because a single one might not be able to make enough) and being essentially flawless smugglers?

I think we’ve been shown that changelings can actually materialize some stuff, like AJ’s hat.

We’re not going to talk about how the camera might have been a part of her body?

She can pick the crown back up, and you could not be more wrong on the second thing.

Wait…why does she still have a crown when she clearly lost it and the end of S6?
 
And one more thing, I thought changelings could only shape-shift into ponies that share the same height as them.
