I, on the other hand, am a big Spike fan that had been waiting for this moment for about 7 years.
I only wish we could’ve seen the rest of the Mane 6’s reactions though.

I’m a big Spike fan and I wasn’t looking forward to this. That said, I applaud the writers for pulling off a major character change and make it work as well as they did here.
Spike fans have finally gotten something that they’ve been hoping for. Spike’s change doesn’t affect anyone’s Twilight waifu self-insert fantasies, so no, there won’t be much drama.
Oh, we’re already going through the drama. Popcorn?
