I wonder who gets the micropayment money now from people who actually spend actual money on it? There are still pretty high scores on the weekly leaderboards, so people are still playing it.

…Dang, whoever uploaded this has been buildin’ up their daily wheel-spin presents for a hecka long time. I think 36 AJs, 23 RDs, and 29 Rarities was my own record.
They won for infringement, meaning that they owned the underlying game. What they didn’t have was the rights to the license, and after a mess like that Hasbro wasn’t exactly going to be negotiating low.
Unfortunately we don’t know the details of the settlement. If Backflip retained any ownership of the game, Peak Games couldn’t continue work on it even if they wanted to–even if Hasbro wanted them to.
