Well, while MLP:FiM is made to appeal to all ages and genders, children are the primary target demographic, meaning that they can’t get away with doing anything too explicitly morbid or risque.
I didn’t actually think that YOU thought that Dash is going to hang herself, because “it’s a show for young children”. Actually, Lauren Faust said that she made FiM for children AND adults, including MALE adults.
I’m just making a bit of a morbid joke.
But if I did actually think that (which would be stupid, ‘cause it’s a show for small children), then it’d probably be because of the rope in the background, like BP #89DD said.
