Don’t worry, it’s a Zip disk. By the time I finish writing to it, eject it, and get it over to another computer, it’ll be broken.

Anyone else have that miserable experience? Sure, it could hold 100 MB, but I lost many assignments my freshman year because of those damned disks! Curse you, Iomega!
 
 
FWIW, I still use 3.5-inch 1.44-MB floppies, with a couple of scientific/electrical instruments from the 1990s, both of which would be exceedingly difficult for me to replace.

I know what is a floppy disk and how you use it. I don’t know a thing about copying a floppy, but I do know about storing files and using multiple floppy disks to install a bigger game like Duke Nukem.

Not only do I know what a floppy is, I used them back in the day when they were actually floppy. As in the big 5¼ inch disks.
 
Makes me feel a bit old, I’ll tell you that.

I don’t even have any floppy drives around anymore! I have ~250 floppies in one closet, but I imaged them years ago. Not just copied the files, but actually made disk images out of them. Hundreds of neat little 1.44 MB files. Wrote a FAT12/FAT16/VFAT image reader out of boredom to read them and extract files from them.
