VentressTheBat proved his reputation as very unreliable customer , scumming Tomatocoup, Nightskrill and then me. Chargeback was a bad experience for me and my nerves. He tried to explain it with bank problems but after Tomatocoup&Yakovlev story I have even less reasons to believe him. In the end of the day he returned my money but I don’t want to finish this art anymore. I don’t trust him. And in case of another chargeback, have this, slightly reduces version and without background. I want to turn her into Littlepip and finish the art afterwards.

It’s a bit sad. Was kinda hoping that it was just a one time thing with Tomato, and there was even a little bit of a plan to have a ‘continuation’ to this

Still really crappy that it took him being outed publicly to get things paid both times.
Though, didn’t he actually make those payments to Tomato after the beware went out? It still doesn’t make it… better, really. But it’s better then outright refusing to pay, I guess. Didn’t know anything about the Ponyway and Nightskrill incidents. Got a link you can share?

There was an artist beware on him at the end of February regarding his incident with Tomato. And then the two charge backs on Ponyway and Nightskrill.
I am interested in knowing more, is there like a DramaAlert or something for us to read dirt on people? Didn’t know a well known bat pony OC had their flaws.

As far as I know before tomatos’s he’d been paying all of them, until then he was someone that paid, even if he wasn’t the most agreeable. What he’d been doing may not be as widely known as it should be or people figured it was ok because “well he paid in the end.”
my guess that Ventress believes that if he pays some artists for their small price in commissions without doing the scummy things that she did to others, it would convince them that he’s not the bad guy.
Take this image, for example; he payed the artist for the commission and as far as I know, did not refund it in any way, convincing the artist that he’s just a person having a rough time.
