I can tell you that none of your ideas are correct.
It is just a misunderstanding.
I have a few ideas truthfully.
1: They either aren’t connecting well, either cause they don’t really share much in common or cause Big Mac is being Big Mac and so not talking much.
2: Big Mac getting a bit over protective/jealous cause Sugar Belle still has a lot of admirers and stallion friends.
3: Big Mac might be wanting the relationship to move faster, like marriage or something, but Sugar Belle isn’t quite ready for that yet and has stuff she wants to do on her own.
what are your suspicions? i ain’t gonna confirm, nor negate, but i’m curious as to how close you got
As much as I don’t want it spoiled for me more than it is (cause I did read the synopsis of the episodes) I am curious to see if my suspicion as to why they’re breaking up

Over what ? Biggie was clearly established as Sugar Belle beau the last season.Never showed romantic interest to Fluttershy and the Cheerilee pairing was forced on him by the CMC
