The Mane 6 are getting to be quite boring characters now, their goals are complete and they have no room to grow because the writers wrote themselves into a corner.
Even the CMC have little place to go now.
Starlight at least keeps the show interesting, sure they could’ve retconned the mane6’s personalities to solve this problem too but you’d hate that equally as much.
And you’re gonna love season 8 then… Now they have an entire ensemble of new characters to sideline not only the Mane 6 but also Starlight.
Yes, I would have preferred that the Mane 6 don’t get sidelined.
So you’re one of those people who would have preferred to see the Mane 6 friendship away the changelings instead, then? Or is Starlight supposed to lose just because?
That still prevents Starlight from using him to press an “I win” button.
