well her telekinesis is pretty strong too since she could left a giant monster bear and twi is pretty smarter than raven too.

I honestly don’t know much about Raven, but the only thing Twi’s really got going for her is her speed in getting spells off; pony magic is pretty much cast on demand. Her best spells are Teleport, Time Stop (more like a mass hold-person really), Transmutation (turning Raven into an orange would ruin her day) and a pretty powerful shield spell. Animating things wouldn’t be too useful, and the want-it-need-it spell, while potentially powerful, seems to be one of the few exceptions to the standard instant cast spells, taking a few seconds to charge. I really can’t imagine Twi’s standard blaster spell being very effective.

Will this be the one where a horse finally dies or will it end in another friendship?

If Raven has any of her personality from Teen Titans Go, she is going to be elated that there is a talking pony in front of her.

She does, actually. Several in fact.
 
The obvious one is that Raven’s powers rely on spoken words. If you can manage to silence her, she’s completely powerless. Robin, disguised as Red X, rendered her completely helpless by essentially taping her mouth shut.
 
Plus, for a harbinger of the apocalypse and spawn of basically Satan, she’s rather insecure and pretty thin-skinned. It doesn’t take much taunting for Raven to lose it. When she loses control of her emotions her powers become erratic, difficult to get a handle on, and every bit as dangerous to her as to those around her. That’s how Terra was able to defeat her. And while Raven’s no dummy, she’s not exactly a strategist.
 
Now I’m not saying that Twilight takes it. I’m saying it’s not as one-sided as it appears.

No contest. Twilight is a dead mare.

And when that doesn’t work, team up with her friends to use the Elements, or try to reason with the enemy and become friends.

It depends. I mean in a full on fight just between those two, I can’t see Twilight winning. Either she’s gonna get killed or befriend Raven. Cause I dunno if they’d count her friends as a power up. And we have no idea if Rainbow Power is enough solo. And besides, the Elements and Rainbow Power are kind of inconsistent and not very clear on what they exactly do. I mean, if she can use them, she would likely be able to purge Trygon from her as they aren’t exactly killing type powers. We’ll just have to wait and see.
 
Again, this is mostly likely going to end in either brony tears or friendship conquering all. I’m a little hesitant to vote on the latter.

I doubt Twilight would even think of doing that. Her solutions for combat are “blast the problem away, and if that doesn’t work, blast harder.”

They could use Twilight’s friends as her “power up” though. Princess of friendship and all. Or it will be “power of all alicorns combined”. Probably in response to Raven going Trygon release, with 6 red eyes and all. If they go the elements of harmony route, Twi probs wins with befriending Raven. If they go alicorn powers, Twi probs gets killed.
 
Let’s hope for option one!

On the other hand, if Twilight is powerful enough to do what Trixie did to Pinkie and remove Raven’s mouth, or manage to make her incapable of using incantations, then she might win that way because that’s the only true weakness Raven has. She, unlike Twilight, needs to utter incantations to use her magic. But that’s a given.

Yeah but Twilight hasn’t been shown to be able to use the Elements alone. Without her friends she would not be able to do that and given the way Death Battle works she’s not gonna be allowed to have back up (unless Raven gets some too). And I mean the most powerful we’ve seen her was when she was given all the Alicorn magic but combat wise she is nothing compared to some of the enemies Raven’s fought (though they may use some bs math to explain the force needed to move the sun and moon which I really expect them to bring up but they’d almost need to discount it as Twilight didn’t show any destructive capabilities that would back it up)
 
Raven also does have power of Empathy, able to feel the emotions of others even drain them. Basically she could corrupt Twilight like with Discord, but she might leach enough that she stops fighting her. There’s possible ways of this ending with no deaths, but I’m not gonna look to hope too much for that. I expect a lot of brony tears in three weeks to be flowing to be honest.

Maybe they’ll go the route of “Twilight uses elements to purge raven of evil”. So, without Trygon corruption, Raven loses power?
 
Otherwise fully unleashed Raven is Discord levels of power, so good luck with that Twi.

If they keep up with Death Battle rules that is. But as we’ve seen with the Pony battles, sometimes they kinda fudge it. I mean Pinkie and Deadpool didn’t kill each other but to be fair that was cause they both are so chaotic, and they pitted Rainbow Dash against the most incompetent Decepticon who technically didn’t die either.
 
It’s POSSIBLE they may do that again and have Twilight do the same thing she did with Sunset, Starlight and Tempest. But I’m not betting they will unless they’re planning to troll people again with that outcome. Either way, I agree, in an actual battle to the death, Raven’s gonna win.

And i thought pinkie pie vs deadpool was ridiculous.

I don’t like Twilight’s odds. Twilight has no real way of defeating Raven alone, and Raven has no real exploitable weaknesses.
 
The ONLY way she could do it is if they once again break Death Battle rules and Twilight befriends Raven like she did to Tempest, Sunset and Starlight. And I’m not willing to bet they’ll do that.
