No, but what Twilight did was a reason to choose Starlight for the stupid half fucking fandom. That part is bullshit.
Hasbro ruined what Twilight was among those 7 seasons, like “we don’t care what Twilight learned, we ruin her character to make the fandom choose”, and there you go.
Now more than half fandom choose Starlight (including the stupid kids which know NOTHING of the show! I could did better things for the movie and the Season 5 and 6’s finale, but what? Hasbro was going to throw my ideas like trash)

Rainbow and Twilight both made mistakes, that doesn´t mean they are bad ponies.
I hate Starlight and RD now.
Honestly, all their decision led to…that incident. All of this could have been easily preventable. Yet the movie insists on railroading the results so that stupidity leads to more stupidity, which leads to more stupidity, which leads to Damsel Twilight.
And no one cared, but if Twilight do something to save Equestria… Pfff, a big sandstorm was made.
