I know. It’s just showed more in the comics than in the show, which is why I long for a Celestia and Spike focused episode.

From this image post here, and several times during the Celestial Advice episode, it seems like Celestia and Spike know each well, which makes sense.
She was very concern for him when he was glowing (Gauntlet of fire)and that scene from(Celestia Advice).
I have NO idea what you’re talking about in full, but I think I get the general idea and I agree. I too see Celestia and Spike being way closer in the comics.
