Why do you think Twilight both failed and betrayed friendship?! Twilight would never betray friendship! She’s the Princess of Friendship! And Celestia expect her to act like one! I know Tempest is following the Storm King’s footprints. And Twilight must follow in Celestia and Luna’s because she will never be Tempest!

Yeah, she alongside Luna and Cadance were petrified by Tempest and they alongside Twilight were dethroned by the Storm King.

Well, it’s because at the end of the second act and the beginning of the third act of the film, Twilight thinks that the pearl could be something to defeat the Storm asking and liberate Equestria from the Storm King. It it wasn’t. She was such a liar in this scene because she should have listen to Queen Novo. And I don’t know why Twilight blamed the Mane Five for her failures or their failures and lashes out towards the Mane Five (mostly Pinkie) that could easily lead to Twilight being pony-napped by the Storm King’s Army and her magic along with the magic of the other three rulers of Equestria that the Storm King have overthrown earlier in the film by the Storm King’s staff.

Personally, I wasn’t with Twilight OR Pinkie. On the one hand, the girls were right, they were the only one staying true to their role as elements of friendship and were almost successful in gaining Novo’s trust. But on the other, Twilight was the only one really taking this mission seriously. Her home country, mentor and sister in law were defeated and conquered in mere MINUTES and after they barely managed to escape, the other girls carried on, making friends, dancing and singing like nothing happened. Let’s not forget the girls made plenty of mistakes too, like Pinkie blowing their cover in Klugetown or Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom giving away their position to Tempest Shadow. As for stealing the pearl, yes what Twilight did was stupid, but she was desperate. She needed that pearl to save HER home, HER people. And since Novo wasn’t going to give it willingly, stealing it was the only other option in her head.
 
So both sides are guilty and both sides have their reasons. To see one side completely in the wrong in a situation like this is nothing short of ignorant.

I guess you’re right. Twilight would never be selfish because she ruined everything by distracting her friends and Queen Novo whiling trying to take the pearl. She screwed up their chances until their chances were restored in the anti-climax of the film. She’s the one responsible for ruin everything by stealing the pearl and lashing out at her friends (mostly Pinkie) that she’d been better off without them. She thinks there’s no hope at saving Equestria and all who lived their including their friends and families. She thinks she lets everypony including the Mane Five, Spike, the princesses, the CMC, Starlight, Trixie, Sunburst, and the rest of Equestria and every hippogriff/sea-pony including Queen Novo and Princess Skystar down. She thinks it was her fault that Equestria is completely doomed. But ultimately, it was the Storm King who completely doomed Equestria because he successfully fully conquered and ruled the entire land/kingdom of Equestria, overthrown all four princesses plus Shining Armor and Flurry Heart, and enslaved, captured, punished, and menaced all of the inhabitants of Equestria.

Well, after saying one of the worst quotes ever made in the movie towards Pinkie, she now realizes that she went too far because she should have listen to Queen Novo. She ended up pulling the trigger which causes herself along with the rest of the Mane Six being banished by Queen Novo. And of course, Twilight really is such a liar after all because she thought is something that can used to save Equestria. She should have turn the Storm King and his troops along with Tempest and Grubber into something even more dangerous than they were before that could cause even more destruction to Equestria if she does take the pearl. The pearl is actually used for transformation. Not for blasting or zapping.

Well, Twilight’s such a disobedient pony because she along with her friends were banished by Queen Novo. But Skystar and the other hippogriffs/sea ponies are acting nice to the Mane Six and Spike.

She yelled at Pinkie for what?! Twilight should have listen to the Queen’s rules about pearl! She did not know that the pearl was a good idea to use against the Storm King She did not know that the pearl was not the only way to save Equestria from the Storm King and his Storm Army! The real way to save Equestria from the Storm King and his Storm Army is too seek help from Queen Novo, and the hippogriffs/sea ponies! As well as a bunch of new friends to help them seek help from hippogriffs/sea ponies! Not to steal the pearl without asking! The pearl doesn’t shoot lasers or beams of magic! It was just an orb of transformation! She should have used the pearl to transform the Storm King and his army into something terrible and dangerous to Equestria and all its inhabitants!
