I really don’t mind having discussions. Just didn’t have to be toxic like this.
@Evil Emperor Proteus
Being anon doesn’t allow me to say and do as I please. Everyone still has to abide by the rules.
Mods and Admins can tell who I am.
And trust me, I’d stay clear of you as well. At least we both can agree to that.
You might just want to ignore that user. They’ve done little to address your points other than fling ad hominems.
Angry drone keeps being angry.
Being anonymous sucks by default because it’s free-reign to say and do as you please without consequences. You can be a total bitch right now and we won’t be able to stay clear of you in the future because you hide behind anonymity.

Yep I’m a fan drone because I’m only making basic points about review/prediction integrity on a site such as RottenTomatoes. It doesn’t have to be MLP. Whether it’s a show, movie, or even a product, that would be considered a poorly written prediction.
And what is wrong with being an anon?
My apologies for my hyper aggressive posts and that my “This sounded a tad too bias for him to actually be someone who’s a fan of the franchise” statement may have rubbed you the wrong way. But you called me out. I’m only retorting.
Well. Mostly the background ponies need it tho.
@Kane
Oh. I can guarantee people will love it, both young and old. It is on par with Disney animated classics… A bit in between The Lion King and Mulan maybe. Well, I might be a bit biased and putting it higher, but still I might say it is really high even from an objective point of view and capable of competing with Disney films.
This fandom has shown a tendency to judge an episode or character before actually viewing the episode for as long as I’ve been a part of it (just before “The Return of Harmony” aired). Granted, it wasn’t until sometime during season 3 that a large portion of the fanbase started scoffing at the idea of giving an episode or movie the benefit of the doubt until actually watching it…
I didn’t think someone who’s a fan of such a show would be judgemental before giving the full viewing a go,
the trailers practically showed huge portions of the movie.
My point still stands when retorting to someone thinking my mindset is:
“How does being a fan of the franchise mean you automatically have to like the movie?”
You do realise he hasnt seen the movie, right? He even says in his predictions that he and his son didnt laugh at the trailer.

Did you not read what i typed?
“I can find the good things in bad movies I didn’t even enjoy.”
That means I’d give credit where credit is due regardless of what I dislike.
Finding the overall Pros and Cons of things regardless of how they did unless they’re were completely horrendous.
And he doesn’t have to like it. He has his own opinion of the movie.
Now from what he said: “I know a surprising amount about of My Little Pony” and that he states he has the collectables made me assume he’s some sort of fan.
To be that completely negative towards it when the movie has about the same kind of humor as the show, it is MY opinion that his credibility is questionable as someone who was a fan in the first place. So like some people here, I as well assume he’s a baiter.
And for you. You’re either a baiter as well, or someone who legitimately cannot read. lol
I mean, that’s all it is NOW, but it used to be quite the sensation.
Sorry but you sound like a drone. How does being a fan of the franchise mean you automatically have to like the movie?
This sounded a tad too bias for him to actually be someone who’s a fan of the franchise, let alone neutral of the series itself.
Edited because: spelling
Oh. I get your point. misandry would be much worse.
I am just stating most girls in the target demographic within my family really did not care much about Flash Sentry and Spruce Timber. They wanted to see the main characters using magic… I don’t know why.
And yet shipping exists and nobody has a problem.
Also, Miraculous does the same thing and i heard nothing about it being boring because of romance.
Even without that, they better not pull any misandry in the spin-off installments. (I mean, Friendships should not be just girls only, right?)
God forbid romance is for everyone.

At this point cringe is just a stupid buzzword for something I don’t like

Yup. I saw many similarities with classic disney films.
@Kane
Otherkin, as well as some other postmodern self identification stuff, is simply disgusting and insane.
@northern haste
Many things do not cause me cringe. In fact, despite its flaws, I like the Equestria Girls spin off. I just wish they stopped trying to make it a teenage romance. That is quite boring, and I have noticed many girls who are in the target demographic are not as interested in that as in magic within the story.
But even if it doesn’t do well on Rotten Tomatoes, I don’t really care. Because I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The Rotten Tomatoes score is not an accurate measurement of a movie’s quality, and (given the number of problems with their scoring system) shouldn’t be taken as such.
No, otherkin are worse

what isn’t cringe worthy to you people?
