There’s not often a time where I like guns blazing unless it’s All Guns Blazing.
 
I could try it out. Games have been kinda dull for me lately. If it’s an RPG, even better.

You can’t go guns blazing on any of the enemies, even when you’re high level. Check some playtroughts to get what I’m saying.

Hard as in bullshit (you have little choice in some areas) or is legitimately challenging?

You should, it’s very fun and addicting, and the multiplayer makes it even better.
 
But only if you got time in your hands, they don’t say the game is hard for nothing ya know.

I like my characters with development, and Pinkie going depressed without flattening her hair means that she can be sad and don’t go full maniac mode.

They were trying too hard with the antics, though. It took its toll on the story and the pacing.

Honestly, I don’t mind about shoutouts, but only if they’re subtle. The thing with the fingers and G3 was funny, but if Pinkie begins to break the 4th Wall as much as we like to say (which she doesn’t), then I will honestly think this is going to far.

I actually thought Pinkie was more sympathetic than usual. I mean yeah, she’s still annoying, but her “depression” sorta got to me on a personal level.

What I was trying to say is that the s3 premier wasn’t screaming “INTERNET!!!!!”  
Something I can’t say about this new episode…

To be fair, he can be greedy, if only because his dragon blood craves for a horde.
 
I mostly agree with what you said about the other characters, but Fluttershy could’ve done more.

The s3 premier really showed off his personality: selfless to the bone.  
If liked all of the main characters during the s3 premier, they were so s1-ish. Back to the basics, where it started, what made it popular. :)

Spike always to get the short end on every deal, in-show and outside.
 
That’s why I liked the S3 premier. He was able to accomplish a task despite his limitations. The “fear” didn’t surprise because his sense of belonging was consistently played serious whereas his obsession for Rarity is almost always played for laughs.
 
Spike needs to be seen by others as a loyal, determined, and resource dude despite his short stature and weak powers. Also, his tendency to be a smart ass.

I know. The fandom does make Spike really shallow. That is why I was so happy they revealed his worst fear wasn’t losing Rarity. That would have killed the moment and his character.

Spike’s lack of reaction it surprised me as well. But its a good thing, because in the fandom, Spike’s crush has basically consumed his character.

All my crushes faded away, and since I empathize with Spike on a lot of things, I just assumed he’d follow suit.

As time progresses, crushes usually fade and make way for either love or disinterest. In both cases the person acts less goofy.

There’s also the fact that he already confessed to her.

Yeah, I just think that the creators believe that trait of him to be too trite. The crush was only mentioned, what, 3 times in Season 2?
