About accurate. Though it’s not so much a maturity thing with these two, I think.
 
Pharynx was brash and very bad at communicating his idea, but it was a good idea from the start - to protect the hive. The drones grew accustomed to the cinnamon roll paradise Thorax built for them, and he enabled them to forget defensive practices, because he was overly concerned with everyone just getting along.
 
I think they just have strengths and weaknesses, and together they bring love and strength to leading the hive.

So we’ve got kind of an anti-Luna/Celestia thing going on? Younger brother is the more emotionally mature one, older brother is the one causing all kinds of problems?
