Look, all I’m saying is that SugarMac might wind up like CheeriMac or MarbleMac, given the nature of this show. And DiscordXFluttershy HAS, to some extent, been acknowledged by third party characters. Again, just watch “Discordant Harmony”.
Of course, now I’m wondering why it’s so important that I agree with you in the first place, and vice versa.
Their ship need to still be acknowledged at least by a third party character or openly have Discord or Fluttershy talk about love. So far its just visual teases but the words like “love” were still replaced with “like you” and “friend”. And MarbleMac also had blushing moments like fluttercord and as you said it didn’t go anywhere.
Although what you say is true to an extent, let’s not forget they did the same with Cheerilee and Marble Pie, and those pairings went nowhere.
And as for blushing and picnics, what the end of “To Where and Back Again” and the entirety (or at least the beginning) of “Discordant Harmony”?
Well although i ship it too, i can’t say it’s canon for 100% unless they make a more obvious hint like, being on a picnic and blushing.
With Sugarmac, however, there is no way to avoid implications that they are an official couple. They ended up as a such at the end of the episode.
Well, there’s been hints in just about every episode they’ve been in…and of course I know you’re being sarcastic.
I’ve never seen this comment before.
More along the lines of Discoshy being all but canon.
