Description
The great king of evil has lived through many heroes, and many centuries, always failing in his quest. But when he discovers the existence of six magical gemstones with enough power to kill the hero with a single blast, he takes the gemstones, but a new and powerful kind of magic that he had never experienced before drives all sense and sanity from his head, transforming him into a wicked, power-hungry monster that will stop at nothing. For the first time in history, the hero may fall, and the legend may be broken forever.
Heeeeere’s page 32! I had a lot of fun working on all of the facial expressions in this one.
Hyrule’s map is both completely made up and slightly based off of both Breath of the Wild’s map and Hyrule Warriors’ map, though mostly Hyrule Warriors because the story takes place seven years after the events of Hyrule Warriors takes place. Here’s a translation of the map if you can’t read the hylian!

Because people keep mentioning it, YES, I am aware of instances on the show in which Twilight/Rainbow Dash carried ponies around through flight. Considering how heavy that ponies can be, on average (200-300 lbs), I do not see how it is relatively possible (especially for Twilight, who we know is physically weaker than Rainbow Dash), and considering that the show forgets its own consistency all of the time, I firmly believe that I’m allowed to mess it up myself every now and then. I do not think of every little possibility for everything on the planet, and neither do they. PLEASE STOP POINTING IT OUT.

She also still struggled. And who’s to say a spell can be cast continuously and not put a strain on the unicorn’s ability to manage it for extended periods?
But she still lifted it and then moved it all the way from Ponyville back to its cave. And again, that was BEFORE she was an alicorn and Pinkie is like 1/8th the size of an Ursa Minor.
She didn’t lift the Minor without struggling…
That’s true, now that you mention it, which would be a goof on my part, but there’s also the endurance factor that goes into it. She was able to carry them all for a short amount of time, but we don’t know if she has the endurance to carry a passenger for several miles without a break, seeing as they’re on a time crunch.
The show forgets its own consistency most of the time, though, so we story writers should be allowed a grace or two when we goof on the show’s lore and such.
