yes but other geckos and skinks also do it
i once saw a skink give up its tail to a praying mantis

Are these the same lizards that detach their tails as a distraction and appeasement to predators and just grow it back?
but if you mess with the gecko
you get the pecko
If you do, I suggest doing your research first.
My grandma has a gecko in her house, She just sit in her couch and look at it all day, She says it lived with her for years but she never interacts with it.
I guess you just have to be lucky for a gecko to wonder into your home (and not step on it)
Maybe I should get a pet one then, I bucking hate cockroaches.
But I guess for now I’ll have to make do with spiders. I’m not an arachnophobe, I welcome those guys in my apartment because they eat roaches and earwigs. Especially since geckos can’t be out of their terrariums all the time to hunt for bugs.
But they sure are cute. I’d have that IRL lizard as a pet.
that’s why it’s so fat
also they eat cockroaches and baby mice
