I’d argue that’s unlikely due to the fact he taught Vinyl her bad ass shadow magic to “slay your enemies and protect those you love”.
True that, but aif he cares about vinyl a bit too much he might decide that eliminating the mortals who know her secret might he a good idea…

I was thinking more that her friends were just adducted by vamps, and caused a child to become an orphan. If anything, she would excuse herself from this date and be bitter at Vinyl for keeping such a dangerous secret from her.
